We love kids, and we love talking about birds! Our interactive presentation, "Birds in the Neighborhood" combined with our hands-on activity "The Birdseed Bar", is a perfect educational, engaging, and entertaining program for libraries, schools, daycamps, after-school programs, scout meetings, nature centers, and birthday parties!

Our founder and presenter has been a full-time educator

at the college level for twenty-two years,

and our program is original and one-of-a kind!

Birds in the Neighborhood

This interactive presentation focuses on twelve birds that are relatively easy to spot in the tri-state area.

Participants will learn

how to visually identify each bird,

then they will listen to the calls or songs of each bird, and then the birds' favorite foods will be discussed.

The Birdseed Bar

At the Birdseed Bar, participants will use a colorful birdfeeding chart to create a custom seed mix that will attract their favorite birds.

Glass mason jar mugs (and lids) will be provided so participants can bring their birdseed home in a zero-waste container.

The standard all-inclusive price for Birds in the Neighborhood & The Birdseed Bar is $125 + $10 per participant. The suggested age range is 5 -10 years old, and sessions are capped at 15(ish) children. Please submit a request for booking below.
